In October 2006 it negotiated with a Southern California client and acquired a cell phone game development project. J2ME is used on that project. It has also recently been talking to another client about a potential game development project using Java. The company has another on-going video game project, which I am involved in. It is educational computer games that teach math to Grades Seven and Eight students. One of the games that I have written code for is "The Providers." At the beginning of the project, the company did research in which game engine to use. It has three options then: Torque Game Engine, 3D True Version and 3D Game Studio. Eventually it chose 3D Game Studio. We have been using 3D Game Studio in developing four educational video games. A game project consists sequentially of game specification, playwriting (detailed design), implementation, testing, documentation and delivery. I would give a demo of "The Providers" game. It is a story about a brave young captain who operates a space-ship to collect energy cells on three planets to ensure the normal operation of the reactors of the Federation.
